We have met many times in Laxmi Nursing home and finally decided to start a mini general Hospital with 50 beds under the Banner of Rohini Superspeciality Hospitals with a share capital of 90 Lakhs and 50 promoters. We have elected 9 Directors on to the Board. With myself as founder Chairman and Dr.G.Kranthi Rao,MD  as founder Managing Director, Sri.P.Kodanda Rama Rao, Vice-Chairman, Dr.K.Raji Reddy as Exe. Director. The original idea of starting such a big Hospital was mooted by Dr.P.Narsimha Reddy a senior Pediatrician but unfortunately he has not joined the organization with the result though we have approached many seniors non of then have joined in the unit & finally myself Dr.Raji Reddy and Dr.G.Kranthi Rao took the responsibility of the job and started working on the project. The other founder Directors on the Board are Mr.P.Rama Rao as vice-Chairman, Dr.T.Rajeshwar Rao, Dr.B.Raghotham Reddy, Dr.R.Prabhakar Rao,Dr.K.Narsimha Reddy, Dr.K.Narayana Reddy. The Logo of the Company Hospital the RISING STAR has been designed by Dr.R.Prabhakar Rao, Director and the name of the organization has been proposed by Dr.R.Laxmana Murthy garu as Rohini the goddess of health as per the Hindu Mythology.

After elaborate discussions in the 1st General Body we have decided to start out Hospital to start with we have selected the present site in Subedari in 50 Guntas, finally we have purchase another 30 guntas & now its 2 acres area and laid the foundation stone by the Chairman and the Board of Directors in the August presence of all the promoters in 1988. After initial hiccoughs and the financial assistance by the APSFC and subsequent APIDC we have completed our Hospital. The Managing Director of APSFC was kind enough to increase the bed strength from 50 beds to 110 beds. We have taken unsecured loans to the tune of 70 Lakhs from our well wishers including our Managing Director Dr.G.Kranthi Rao & P.Narayana Reddy and some of our promoters.

Finally the Board has taken a decision to start our Hospital on 1st November 1991 and appointed Dr.K.Sudhakar Reddy, MS as the Superintendent of the Hospital and Dr.K.Raja Reddy & Dr.B.Raghotham Reddy as the administrators. Since then the Hospital is growing in all dimensions we have created many speciality and superspeciality departments and added more and more equipments, appointed consultant specialists and created other sister concerns like the more prestigious Rohini School of Nursing, Rohini Educational Society, Rohini College of Nursing, Rohini C T Scan Centre Ltd., etc., with the since devoted and hard work of the Directors on the Board, Promoters, Consultants, resident Doctors, Clinical & Non Clinical staff under the Direct supervision of the successive superintendents & Administrators our Hospital has become No.1 Hospital in Rural Telangana. At present the Bed strength is 250 from old 110 beds. We are doing excellent service to the patients who are coming to our Hospital at most reasonable charges. We are getting liberal concessions to poor patients. We are extending excellent services to our Aarogyasri, EHS, State Govt. Employees and about 25 other organizations.

We have purchased an area of 2 acres on the hunter road and constructed a beautiful complex both college, School and Nursing Hostel and shifted the school & Hostel from Rohini Hospital to the new premises. We are able to provide round the clock water and electricity supply to the Hospital. A water tanker brings water 8 to 10 trips a day from Nursing college to our Hospital. We have taken up a programme to renovate the existing hospital and we have already completed and established departments like Cardiology department with Cath Lab facility ICCU and 25 beds of the department, Emergency departments MICU, AMC, RICU, Neonatalogy, ICS, Trauma, Dialysis Unit & round the clock MLC & Casualty and ambulance service.

We have constructed a Modern OT complex with laminar flow system and liquid O2 plant and providing O.T Services with round the clock Anesthesiologists, Central suction, nitrous oxide and O2 supply in our OT with laminar flow system one can operate any super speciality surgery including C.T.Surgery, Knee transplant, organ trans plants etc., We have started doing knee replacement, elizarove in south India & C T surgeries.

Our consultants have proven themselves as the most efficient Doctors in their respective specialties we are regularly conducting the CME programmes for the benefit of our consultants and junior Doctors. We have tried for in permission of Medical College but we could not get it. But god has given an opportunity to teach the younger generation. I am very proud to announce that we have been sanctioned two seats of DNB in General Medicine from this year. Two students have already joined us next year we wanted to apply for DNB in some more departments. We are participating in all the community programmes of the AP, TS and Central Govt.

After 25 years of dedicated services to the people of North Telangana the Rohini Superspeciality Hospitals is now celebrating its “SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS” on 1st November 2016. I pray god to BLESS each one of us & the Rohini Medicare Pvt Ltd organization to further improve its image and advance to Golden Jubilee.

In every Annual General Body we are holding elections for 3 vacancies by rotation and every year electing the Chairman and the Managing Director. As per the instructions of the registrar of Companies and wish  the old promoters the 27th Annual General Body has enhanced the No. of Share holders from 50 to 200 and No.of Directors from 9 to 15 on the Board. The share capital has been increased from Rs. 1,67,87,000/- to Rs.6,71,48,000/- last year the raised share capital has been fully subscribed at par i.e., Rs.1000//- per share.
